Heritage Goats as defined here, are goats which have a historical or contemporary use in the US, and which are still obtainable, and free of genetic or behavioral issues which interfere with sustainability. Semi-feral goat breeds are not listed, as they are not practically available, or do not have sufficient utility purpose in a small farm setting at this time.
